Chances of humans benefiting from nature are receding, as natural habitats are becoming less productive due to the gradual extinction of plant species.
Many scientists now argue that the Earth is in the middle of the sixth mass extinction in the history of life. Some estimates suggest that as much as 50 per cent of all known species could be extinct by the end of this century.
According to an international team of scientists, new analysis shows plant communities as being composed of both stars and supporting players.
Some plants are so productive that they dominate the productivity of natural habitats. Supporting species complement key players and enhance the productivity of plant communities even further.

Nature refers to the physical world around us and also to life in general.
This includes the oceans, lakes, streams and rivers, hills and mountains, the valleys, plants, animals, all that contributes to the natural environment and of course ourselves - human beings.
Nature is exceptionally beautiful and pristine when it is untouched by human beings. Since we like it and enjoy it we also need to take utmost care of NATURE also make our own efforts to preserve it. Here comes our role and responsibility to conserve nature.

Nature and wildlife have been a fascination to me from childhood. I wish to use this blogspot as a tool for sharing my views, information, and quest to stand up in testimony for the significance of nature in our lives. While we live and seek to enjoy our life to the best possible, during the relatively short period of time (our life span) on this beautiful planet, we really need to understand how best we could strive to make this place a better place to live in. We need to live in harmony with each other and with nature in order to make our lives enjoyable and worth the living.
